In 2001, returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she tied for 15th to earn exempt status for the 2002 season.
In 1995, as a rookie, posted her career-best finish on the LPGA Tour with a tie for 14th at the PING Welch's Championship, where she fired a career-low 67 in the third round; did not retain her playing status for the 1996 season.
In 1994, originally qualified for the LPGA Tour, tying for 52nd at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 1995 season.
In 1993-94 and 2000-01, competed on the SBC Futures Tour, where she posted several top-20 finishes, including a career-best tie for ninth at the 1994 Betty Puskar Morgantown Futures Classic.

Amateur
Gill was a quarterfinalist at the 1987 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship and captured the Georgia State Open Championship title in 1986. At the age of 18, she qualified for the U.S. Women's Open in 1989 and made it to the quarterfinals of the U.S. Women's Amateur that same year. While at the University of Kentucky, Gill won the Memphis State Invitational and Lady Gator Invitational. In 1992, she finished fourth at the SEC Championship and 16th at the NCAA Championship.
