Yannik Paul

Paul attended the University of Colorado from 2013 to 2018. He was also a member European Amateur Team Championship in 2014, 2015, and 2016, playing alongside his twin brother Jeremy in 2015 and 2016.
Paul turned professional in May 2018. Played in nine events on the PGA Tour Canada, best finish T-5th at the Syncrude Oil Country Championship. Also played in Canada in 2019 in 12 events, with best finish T-11th at the Osprey Valley Open.
He finished runner-up at the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final in 2021, securing his playing rights on the 2022 European Tour, ultimately finishing ninth on the Challenge Tour Rankings.
2022 Notes: Played in 27 DP World Tour events making 23 cuts with six top-ten finishes. Was 20th in the Race to Dubai. Was T-2nd at the Soudal Open, two shots back of winner Sam Horsfield. Was T-8th at the Acciona Open De Espana and Cazoo Open De France. In October 2022, Paul won his first European Tour at the Mallorca Golf Open. He birdied the final hole to win by one shot ahead of Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Paul Waring. Ended his season with a T-23rd finish at the DP World Tour Championship.
2023 Notes: He was 2nd at the Thailand Classic, four shots back of winner Thorbjorn Olesen. The next week was 2nd at the Hero Indian Open, a shot back of winner Marcel Siem. He was T-6th at the ISPS Handa Championship, four shots back of the Lucas Herbert/Aaron Cockerill playoff. Going into the Thailand Classic, he was 150th in the Official World Golf Rankings, and after his Handa finish, he was 104th in the rankings, which got him an invite to the PGA Championship. Making his second major start, he finished T-69th at Oak Hill. He was 3rd at the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed, six shots back of the winner Dale Whitnell.
