Fully exempt into the 2014 Open Championship by shooting 67-72 to finish 3rd in Final Qualifying at Sunningdale New

Started playing golf at the age of three with his father taking him to the pitch and putt every weekend. By the time he was 10 years old, he was a 14 handicapper and a scratch player by 13. Has represented England in the youth teams. Said he declined the opportunity to attend Stanford University.
Spent the last 10 years competing in Asian Tour before losing his card at the end of 2013. Now based back in England and plays in some regional English PGA events but hopes to win his winning playing rights either on the Challenge Tour or main European Tour. Never played in a Major but has previously come close in International Final Qualifying at Sunningdale plus US Open qualifying at Walton Heath. Rodgers said it is every golfers? dream to play in The Open and he is now hoping his 71-year-old dad will consider caddying for him at Royal Liverpool.
2013 Notes: Played in 14 events on the Asian Tour, best finish was T-13th at the Resorts World Manila Masters. Finished the year winning $39,348 which placed him 82nd on the order of merit. Went to final Asian Tour Q-School and finished T-102nd not getting his card.
Played in one event on the Asian Tour in 2014 finishing 46th at the Queen's Cup.
