Jens Dantorp

Dantorp turned professional in 2008 and played on the Nordic Golf League, winning eight times between 2008 and 2012. He won four tournaments in 2011 and led the Order of Merit. Had one great moment in the 2011 Bravo Tour Open which he won he shot 59 in the second round.
Dantorp played on the Challenge Tour in 2012 and 2013, picking up his first win in August 2013 at the Rolex Trophy. He finished the 2013 season 21st in the Road to Ras Al Khaimah which got him a European Tour card for 2014.
2014 Notes: Played in 23 European Tour events making 9 cuts. His best finish was T-16th twice: Africa Open and Madeira Islands Open. He finished 154th in the Race to Dubai.
2015 Notes: He returned to the Challenge Tour, played in 19 events making 13 cuts. Had 4 top-ten finishes, best was 2nd at the Karnten Golf Open. He finished 24th in the Road to Ras Al Karma. Played twice on the European Tour and finished T-3rd at the Nordea Masters
2016 Notes: Again played on the Challenge Tour in 22 events making 18 cuts with 3 top-ten finishes. His best finish was 2nd in the last event of the year the NBO Golf Classic Grand Final. Was 19th in the Road to Ras Al Khaimah.
2017 Notes: Played in 22 Challenge Tour events making 18 cuts with 4 top-tens. In the 2nd to last event won the Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge with an eagle 3 at the first playoff hole and finished T-5th in the NBO Golf Classic Grand Final the following week, to end the season 11th in the Order of Merit and gain a place on the European Tour for 2018.
2018 Notes: Struggled in his first 17 events, only had 1 top-twenty finish, T-16th at the Hero Indian Open. Dantorp led after three rounds of the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open, eventually finishing T-3rd with a 68 in the final round to end up 5 shots back of winner Brandon Stone who shot 60 in the final round. With the good finish, Dantorp earned one of the last spots into the 147th Open Championship which will be his first Major appearance.
