Jordan Smith

Smith first took up the game at age 13 and turned professional in 2014. He was a member of the Great Britain & Ireland team at the 2013 Walker Cup. He played mainly on the PGA EuroPro Tour in 2015, winning twice. He also won the tour's Order of Merit which gained him a Challenge Tour card for 2016. He won two Challenge Tour events in 2016, the Red Sea Egyptian Challenge and the Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge. He finished as the Road to Oman Ranking leader to earn a place on the European Tour for 2017.
2017 Notes: In his 3rd European Tour, start finished 3rd at the BMW SA Open. He was a shot out of the Storm/McIlroy playoff. In his 5th start of the year was T-6th at the Qatar Masters. He added another top-ten with a T-8th finish at the Trophee Hassan II. In his 18th start of the year beat Alexander Levy in a playoff to win the Porsche European Open. Smith played in 31 European Tour events making 25 cuts. He was in the top ten 5 times and finished 24th in the Race to Dubai standings.
2018 Notes: Played in 27 European Tour events making 19 cuts with four top-ten finishes. Was 43rd in the Race to Dubai. He was T-3rd at the Volvo China Open 2 shots back of winner Alexander Bjork. As was T-8th at the Italian Open. He was 10th at the KLM Open and T-3rd at the British Masters, four shots back of winner Eddie Pepperell. His last start of the season was T-12th at the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.
2019 Notes: Played in 25 European Tour events making 19 cuts with five top-ten finishes. Was 50th in the Race to Dubai. Shot a final-round 65 to finish T-7th at the Maybank Championship. He was T-5th at the Volvo China Open to finish five back of winner Mikko Korhonen. Finished T-6th at the British Masters, five shots back of winner Marcus Kinhult. They had the third-round lead at the BMW International Open but shot 72 in the final round to finish T-3rd, two shots back of the Andrea Pavan/Matt Fitzpatrick playoff. He was 5th in the Alfred Dunhill Links, three shots back of winner Victor Perez. In his final event of the season, he finished 47th at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
2020 Notes: Played in 21 European Tour events making 16 cuts with two top-ten finishes. He was 61st in the Race to Dubai. He was T-6th at the Oman Open, 4 shots back of the Sami Valimaki/Brandon Stone playoff. Was T-7th at the Dubai Duty-Free Irish Open, five shots back of winner John Catlin. In his final event of the season, he finished 47th at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
2021 Notes: Played in 26 European Tour events making 19 cuts with three top-ten finishes. Was 70th in the Race to Dubai. Shot a final round 65 to finish T-3rd at the Made in Himmerland, six shots back of winner Bernd Wiesberger. Was the 1st round and third-round leader at the ISPS Handa World Invitational, but shot a final round 74 to finish T-3rd, two shots back of winner Daniel Gavins. He was T-8th at the Cazoo Classic. His last event of the season was T-24th at the AVIV Dubai Championship.
2022 Notes: Played in 25 DP World Tour events making 21 cuts with nine top-ten finishes. Was 12th in the Race to Dubai. He was 2nd at the Ras al Khaimah Championship, four shots back of winner Nicolai Hojgaard. Shot a final round 65 to get into a playoff with Pablo Lazzazabal and Adri Arnaus. Larrazabal made a birdie on the 2nd extra hole to beat Smith, who finished T-2nd at the MyGolfLife Open. Was T-10th at the Porsche European Open and T-8th at the BMW International Open. Finished 7th at the Cazoo Open De France and ISPS Handa World Invitational. He was T-6th at the Andalucia Masters and won the Portugal Masters, three shots better than Gavin Green. It was Smith's second win on the DP World Tour, and his 254 total is the lowest 72-hole score on the DP World Tour. He finished the season with a T-30th at the DP World Tour Championship.
2023 Notes: T-6th at the ISPS Handa Championship, four shots back of the Lucas Herbert/Aaron Cockerill playoff. He was T-6th again at the Porsche European Open, five shots back of the winner Tom Mcibbin.
