Manon De Roey

Manon started playing golf at age 11. She won her first tournament at age 16, the Belgian Youth Trophy. A year later, at age 17, she won the Flanders Trophy. Later that year, she was awarded the Trophy 'Annette de Vooght' (Best Player under 18).
Manon became a member of the Belgian National Team in 2008 and defended her country at several European Team Championships and the World Amateur Team Championship in Japan (2014).
After graduating from the Top Sports School for Golf in Hasselt (Belgium) in 2010, she started her education at the University of New Mexico. In May 2014, she graduated with a psychology major and a management minor. She played college golf on an NCAA Div 1 team for four years. During that time, she won the Colonel Wallenbergs RAM classic (Fort Collins, Colorado)(2012) and the Mountain West Conference at the Dinah Shore golf course (2012). In 2014 the Lobos won the Mountain West Conference, again at Dinah Shore golf course. Received honors as an All-American Scholar from the National Golf Coaches Association in 2010 and was named All-Conference Second Team in 2013 and 2014.
At the end of 2014, Manon played the LET Q-school as a rookie and reached the final stage, making the cut, but failing to get within the Top30 to get a full card on the LET. She finished T-56th and got a 09b exemption on the LET.
In 2016, her first year on the LET, Manon played in four events, with her best results being T-41st at the ISPS Handa New Zealand Open and T-43rd at the RACV Ladies Masters.
In 2017, Manon played in two LET events and focused on the LET Access Series, playing in 13 events with three top-10 finishes, including a T-3rd at the Foundation PGA Championship and T-4th at the Evli Ladies Finnish Open.
2018 Notes: She played in 12 LET events, with her best result being T-22nd in the season-ending Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espana. She also played in 11 events on the LET Access Series and won her first professional title, the WPGA International Challenge, at Stoke-by-Nayland in September.
2019 Notes: Played in 14 LET tournaments and recorded four top-10 finishes, ending 23rd on the Order of Merit. Her best finish was T-5th at the Lacoste Ladies Open De France. Manon also played on the LET Access Series, winning two tournaments (Santander Golf Tour and WPGA International Challenge) and finishing 3rd in the St Malo Golf Mixed Open. She was 7th in the LETAS Order of Merit, winning euro18,416.
2020 Notes: She won the Moss Vale Pro-Am on the Australian Ladies Professional Tour in January. She had her best year to date on the Ladies European Tour, finishing 4th on the Race to Costa del Sol. A model of consistency, Manon only missed one cut from 12 events, notching an impressive five top-10 finishes, including a runner-up finish at the Women's NSW Open and the Saudi Ladies Team International. She was a career-best 4th on the LET Race to the Costa del Sol.
2021 Notes: Played in 20 LET events making 15 cuts with two top-ten finishes. She was 37th in the Race to Costa Del Sol and was 35th on the money list with earnings of euro67,269. Was T-4th at the ATS London Team Event. Played in the Tokyo Olympics as a member of Belgium's women's golf team, finishing T-46th. Was T-6th at the Estrella Damm Ladies Open. In her last event of the season was T-8th at the Andalucia Open De Espana.
2022 Notes: Played in 25 LET events making 21 cuts with 7 top-ten finishes. She was 4th in the Race to Costa Del Sol and was 13th on the money list with earnings of euro218935. Shot 66-67 over the weekend to finish T-3rd at the Madrid Ladies Open, eight shots back of winner Ana Pelaez. Won the Aramco Team Series - Bangkok (Individual) by three shots over Johanna Gustavsson. Was T-7th at the Jabra Ladies Open and Mithra Belgian Ladies Open. Finished 6th at the Estrella Damm Ladies Open, seven shots back of winner Carlota Ciganda. Was T-7th at the Aramco Team Series Sotogrande and T-4th at the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open, three shots back of winner Liz Young. Ended her season with a T-19th finish at the Andalucia Open De Espana. After the season, she finished T-28 in LPGA Q Series to earn her LPGA card for the first time in 2023.
2023 Notes: She started her season T-9th at the Magical Kenya Open and T-7th at the Lalla Meryem Cup. Shot a final round 63 to finish T-3rd at the Saudi Ladies International, two shots back of winner Lydia Ko. Was T-6th at the Belgian Ladies Open, five shots back of the winner Patricia Isabel Schmidt. On the LPGA Tour her best finish is T-17th at the Meijer LPGA Classic.
