Olivia Cowan

Olivia started playing golf at age 3 as her father, Andrew, is an English-born teaching professional in Germany. She played for the German National Team as an amateur from 2011-2015.
As an amateur, she won the 2015 Spanish and Portuguese International Ladies Championships, the 2013 German Ladies National Championship, the 2011 Luxembourg Ladies International Championship, and the 2010 U/14 German Girls' National Championship. She finished 4th at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in China and was a member of the winning European Vagliano Team in 2015. She turned professional in July 2015.
Olivia qualified for the Ladies European Tour in Category 7 after winning the 2015 LET Access Series Order of Merit. In 2015, she won three times on LETAS: the ASGI Ladies Open in Switzerland and the Boras Ladies Open in Sweden, while still an amateur. Then, after turning professional in July, she collected her third at the Norrporten Ladies Open in Sweden in August. Her other successes on LETAS included 2nd at the CITIZENGUARD Trophy in Belgium and CREDITCATE24 Trophy in Germany. She also received invitations to play in the Helsingborg Open and Omega Dubai Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour in 2015.
On the 2016 LET, it was her rookie season, Cowan recorded three top-10 finishes, including a best finish of 5th in the Sanya Ladies Open. The following year she recorded two top-10 finishes, which were T-6th in the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open and T9 in the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic.
In 2017, had 13 LET starts and recorded two top-10 finishes T-6th in the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open and T-9th in the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic.
In 2018 she finished 7th on the LET Order of Merit after recording four top-10 finishes in 12 events, including a best finish of T-4th in the Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open De Espana. She also started four events and made three cuts on the 2018 Symetra Tour, recording a top finish of T-7th at the IOA Championship.
2019 Notes: Played in 16 LET events making 15 cuts. She had seven top-ten finishes, her best finish was T-2nd at the Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic, a shot back of winner Nuria Iturrioz. Ended 7th on the Order of Merit for the second year in a row.
2020 Notes: In 12 LET starts, made 12 cuts but only one top-ten finish. That was a T-7th at the Investec SA Women's Open. Finished the year 20th on the Race to Costa del Sol and 178th on the Rolex Rankings.
2021 Notes: Played in 19 LET events making 18 cuts with eight top-ten finishes. Finished the year 5th on the Race to Costa del Sol and 14th on the money list earning euro136,813. She was T-10th in the Scandinavian Mixed event on the European men's tour. She was the second-best woman in the tournament, five shots back of Alice Hewson, who finished 3rd. Was T-3rd at the Jabra Ladies Open and T-7th at the Big Green Egg Open. Won the Aramco Team Series-London, this is a duo event, one a team part and a second which is individual. Cowan won the team part with partners Diksha Daga, Sarina Schmidt, and Andrew Kelsey, the amateur of the group. Was T-6th at the Estrella Damm Ladies Open, T-7th at the Dubai Moonlight Classic, and T-5th at the Saudi Ladies International. In the individual Aramco Team Series-Jeddah Cowen was 2nd a shot back of winner Pia Babnik.
2022 Notes: Played In 15 Let events making 12 Cuts with 3 Top-Ten Finishes. She was 19th In The Race To Costa Del Sol and was 18th on the money list with earnings of Euro171,799. She was T-4th at the Amundi German Masters, two shots back of winner Maja Stark. Shot 65-68 over the weekend to win her first LET title at the Hero Women's Indian Open by three shots over Caroline Hedwall and Amandeep Drall. She ended the season with a T-10th finish at the Andalucia Open De Espana.
2023 Notes: Was T-7th at the Lalla Meryem Cup. Shot a final round 68 to finish T-3rd at the Aramco Team Series - Florida, two shots back of the winner Carlota Ciganda. She was 4th at Belgian Ladies Open, three shots back of the winner Patricia Isabel Schmidt. Finished T-6th at the Aramco Team Series - London and T-9th at the La Sellla Open.
