Tamie Durdin

Started playing golf at the age of 14...Credits her parents and sister as the individuals who influenced her career the most.
Durdin was the 1995 Australian Junior champion and won both the South Australian and Tasmanian Stroke-Play Championships in 1996. While at Pepperdine University, she ranked seventh in the MasterCard Collegiate Ranking. She also was named First-Team All-American in 1999-2000.
In 2000, finished tied for second at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she earned exempt status for the 2001 LPGA season; competed on the SBC Futures Tour, where she won one event.
In 2001, best finish was a tie for third at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, where she recorded a career-low 67 in the final round; earned the Century 21 Fine Homes & Estates Move of the Month Award for June as a result of her 67-spot jump up in the money list that month.
In 2002 best finish in 19 events was T42nd at Ping Banner Health. The Safeway Classic was the last event that she played in America till her start eight years later in this year's KIA Classic.
In 2009, returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she finished 13th to earn Priority List Category 11 for the 2010 LPGA season; competes on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (JLPGA), where she won the Fujisankei Tournament.
