Tsubasa Kajitani

She was introduced to golf by her father and encouraged by both parents to play.
In 2018, was T-23rd in the Japan Women's Open playing it as a 15-year-old amateur.
2019 Notes: She finished runner-up in the Australian Women's Amateur Championship, losing the final to Korean Yae Eun Hong 3 & 2. Earned Low Amateur honors in the Japan Women's Open with a T-9th finish. In the final round, she was paired with Jiyai Shin who is her favorite female golfer. Says it was the most memorable time in her life. She finished runner-up in the China Girls Junior Championship. Played on the Japan girls team at the 2019 Junior World Cup and help the team win and finished 4th in the individual portion. She won the Girls 15-17 age division of the Japan Girls Junior Championship.
2020 Notes: Was T-2 in the Avondale Amateur in Australia, finishing a shot behind winner Grace Kim. She got to play again in the Japan Women's Open and finished T-55th, it was one of three times she played on the Japan LPGA.
2021 Notes: Won the Augusta National Women's Amateur, she was tied at 1-over par, 289 in regulation with Emilia Migliaccio, and beat her with a par on the first playoff hole. Asked if she was hosting a champions dinner at Augusta National what would she serve and she said steak with a big smile. Was 4th in the Kansai Women's Amateur in Japan.
