Austin Jordan

Jordan has a knack for hitting his best shots near his birthday. A day after he turned 10, Jordan sank his first hole-in-one, and then dropped another on his 12th birthday. He turns 23 on Friday of the 2016 U.S. Open.
Jordan left his mark at the University of the Incarnate Word (located in San Antonio, Tx) as one of the best in the program's history. As a freshman, in 2011-2012, Jordan played in all 23 rounds and scored three top-20 finishes, while finishing the year in 25th at the Lone Star Conference Championships. A year later, Jordan broke through with two wins, one at an Incarnate Word-hosted event, and the other at the Texas A&M International, and jumped inside the top 20 at the Lone Star Conference Championships. He was the only player on the team to play all 28 rounds, and broke the school record with a season average of 74.2. In 2014-2015, Jordan?s senior year, he bettered that mark with a 71.9 season average, a record that still stands. He set school records for best career average score (74.36), most career rounds (with 96, 15 more than 2nd), and owns three of the best five single rounds in school history. Jordan turned professional following graduation in 2015.
