Brandon McIver

Learned to play the game of golf alongside his grandfather. Brandon's dad said the typical Saturday morning foursome would be three World War II veterans and a 10 year-old boy.
Was one of the most highly decorated Montana high school golfers in recent memory. A four-year lettterwinner at Billings West High School, he won three State Montana 2A titles and helped lead his team to three State Championships. As a senior, he went undefeated and set two course records while never shooting a round higher than 70 en route to a 67.2 scoring average.
Committed to play golf at the University of Oregon and took part in 11 tournaments his freshman year. Put together a career-best 7-under par 209 at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional due in large part to his second-round 5-under 67. That round was a career-best mark and tied for the lowest score by an Oregon player that season. He finished the season with a 73.9 scoring average across 34 rounds. That summer, Brandon won the 96th Montana State Men's Amateur Championships with a stellar 14-under par 270. He also participated in the 2013 U.S. Amateurs.
This past season, wrapped up a solid campaign with a 3-under 67 in the final round of the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Prairie Dunes CC. Finished second on the team with a 71.95 stroke average and had eight top-25 finishes. Had a tied for 3rd place finish at the Husky Invitational where he shot 2-under and a tie for 5th at the Wyoming Cowboy Desert Intercollegiate, which marked his best finish of his career at Oregon. Helped guide Oregon to a 2nd place finish at the NCAA Eugene Regionals and finished in a tie for 8th individually. Earned All-Pac 12 All-Academic honors for the first time in his first year eligible.
Brandon also helped lead Billings West to a basketball State Championship as well. Is the son of Robert and Terri McIver and has one sister, Christie.
