Chad Ramey

Father, Stanley, is a golf course superintendent/manager who introduced him to the game at a very early age. Chad graduated in 2010 from Itawamba Agricultural High School in Fulton, Mississippi. His earliest golf memory was attending The Masters when he was 10-years old. Was a University of Mississippi fan growing up and attended Mississippi State University.
Ramey turned professional in 2014 and started playing in mini-tour events. In 2017 Ramey finished T-3rd at PGA Tour Canada and played in 12 events for the Year. His best finish was T-2nd at the Staal Foundation Open. He opened with a 6-under-par 66 and was one shot off the 54-hole lead held by Kramer Hickok and Patrick Newcomb, eventually finishing birdie-birdie to wind up one shot shy of the winner with Johnny Ruiz. He also finished T-3rd at the National Capital Open. He was three shots off the 54-hole lead and closed with a 4-under-par 67 to finish four shots back of winner Mark Blakefield. Finished at 16th on the Mackenzie Tour - PGA Tour Canada Order of Merit. Later in 2017, he finished T-30th at the Korn Ferry Tour qualifying to get on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2018.
2018 Korn Ferry Tour Summary: Tournaments Entered - 23; Rounds Played - 67; In Money - 10; Top-10 Finishes - 0; Scoring Average - 70.48 (rank T-73rd); Regular Season Money - $66,462 (rank 91st); his best finish was T-11th at the Price Cutter Charity Championship.
2019 Korn Ferry Tour Summary: Tournaments Entered - 26; Rounds Played - 78; In Money - 13; Top-10 Finishes - 2; Scoring Average - 70.41 (rank T-47th); Regular Season Money - $124,460 (rank 45th); his best finish was T-2nd at the Price Cutter Charity Championship two shots back of winner Kris Ventura. In the Finals only made one cut, T-26th at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.

In 2020 was T-2nd at the Mexico Championship, lost aa playoff to David Kocher. Finished T-6th at the The King & Bear Classic, five shots back of winner Chris Kirk. Was 3rd at the Price Cutter Charity Championship, two shots back of winner Max McGreevy. Shot a final round 66 to finish T-2nd at the WinCo Foods Portland Open, two shots back of winner Lee Hodges. Finished the year T-3rd at the Savannah Golf Championship and T-4th at the Orange County National Championship.
