Chris Thompson

Got his start in golf from his dad at age 2. Two-time collegiate All-American at the University of Kansas. Posted seven top-10 finishes during his senior season to earn All-Big 12 honors. Finished T2 individually to help lead KU to the Big 12 golf title in 1999 at Prairie Dunes CC, shattering the tournament record by 25 strokes and giving the school its first conference title since 1950. Winner of the 1998 Kansas Amateur.
Played on the Golden Bear and Gateway Tours between 2000 and 2006. Made it to the finals of Q-School at the end of 2006, finished T-64th which got him a Web.com Tour card for 2007.

Played in three Web.com Tour events in 2009, making cuts at the Cox Classic (T-32nd) and Christmas In October in Kansas (T-23rd).
In 2011 made two cuts in three Web.com Tour starts. Opened with a 64 at the Midwest Classic and followed with three more under-par rounds to T-25th outside Kansas City. Also T-44th at the Cox Classic, thanks to four more under-par rounds (69-65-69-69).
Lone Web.com Tour start in 2012 was a T54 at the Cox Classic.
In 2013 shot third-round 64 at the Air Capital Classic then followed that with a 69 in the final round to finish T-7th in Wichita. Only other made cut in five starts came in Omaha, at the Cox Classic (T-26th).
