David Oh

Started playing golf at a early age, he developed into one of the top junior golfers in the country. In 1998, he garnered junior All-American second-team honors and was named to the All-Southern California junior team for the second consecutive year. Also was named the 1998 Delphic League MVP. In 1998 and 1999, was the AJGA Nabisco Mission Hills Desert junior champion ... Won the 1997 CIF individual championship. Was the 1995 Junior World champion in the 13-14 age division.
Went and played for four years at USC, got a degree in business in 2003. Made it to the semi-finals of the 2003 U.S. Amateur, lost to eventual winner Nick Flanagan who beat him 1 up.
Turned pro in 2004 and struggled, and was not able to get through Q-School. Did play in the U.S. Open in 2005 and '06, missing the cut both years. Played in mini-tour events and then starting in 2006 went over to play in Korea, Asia, Australia and the One Asian Tour. In 2006 finished T-3rd at the Kolon-Hana Korea Open. In 2007 finished T-4th in the SK Telecom Open and then in 2009 finished T-10th at the Australian Open. Played more in Asia and Australia in 2010, best finish was T-6th at the Australian Open.
In 2011 played 12 events in Asia and his best finish was T-10th at the CJ Invitational hosted by KJ Choi. In 2012 he qualified and starting playing full time on the Japan Golf Tour. Finished T-7th in the Kolon Korea Open, which is on the One Asian Tour.
Continued playing full-time on the Japan PGA Golf Tour in 2013 where his best finish was a runner-up at the Tsuraya Open after carding all four rounds in the 60's (68-69-64-66). Later in the season, had a 5th-place finish in the Japan Golf Tour Championship where he shot 70-69-70-68.
Has an 11th place finish in the Tsuraya Open this year and finished in 13th at the Maekyung Open, which is on the OneAsia Tour.
2012 Japan PGA Tour Summary: Tournaments entered - 13; in money - 8; Top-10 finishes - 1; scoring average - 71.73 (ranked 50th); money ¥6,628,323 (ranked 94th); Best finish, T-10th Totoumi Hamamatsu Open.
