Eduardo Herrera

Herrera was the first Colombian golfer to be featured in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Rankings.
Herrera represented Colombia in the Eisenhower Cup in 1986 and although his team did not win, he had the best 72-hole score of all the competitors in a field that included Jesper Parnevik, Colin Montgomerie, Jay Sigel, Billy Andrade, Peter McEvoy, Jean van de Velde and Peter O'Malley.
Herrera played on the Japan Golf Tour from 1988 until 2001 where he made 366 starts finishing in the top-10, 56 times and winning five times.
He played on the PGA Tour in 2002 after earning his card through Qualifying School in 2001. Qualified for the PGA Tour in 2002 through Qualifying School.
2002 PGA Tour Notes: Made seven of 23 cuts, earning $109,953 and finishing 196th on the money list. He was unable to retain his card.
He played in 31 PGA Tour events, securing one top-ten, an 8th in the 2002 B.C. Open.
He played in the Web.Com Tour from 2003 to 2005. While on that tour, he played 53 events making the cut 29 times and finishing in the top 10 three times. His best finish was T-5th at the Virginia Beach Open.
Herrera finished third at the 2008 Asian Tour Qualifying School to earn his Asian Tour card for 2009, playing in five events and making one cut. Finished second at the Riviera Nayarit Classic on the Canadian Tour.
Played in nine events in Canada in 2010 and had a best finish of T-16th at the Jane Rogers Championship.
Went to PGA Tour Champions Q-School at the end of 2015 and finished T-20th, also went back to Q-School at the end of 2016 and finished T-50th.
