Rob Boldt

Turned professional when he was 17 years old and said the highlight of his career was being able to play with Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. After leaving the PGA Tour, basically took over a struggling city golf course and turned it around into a well-respected course and was the Director of Golf at Boundary Oak. Also coached UC Irvine and Saint Mary's college golf teams during his time as a golf professional.
Currently is a PGA Teaching Professional at Eagle Club Indoor Golf in San Francisco.
Boldt is a former PGA tour player who has been teaching beginners to tour players for over 33 years. He played in the U.S. and overseas.
Was a Northern California Junior Champion. In 1979, set the amateur course record at Pebble Beach with a 64. Was runner-up at the 1979 Pebble Beach Spalding Invitational. Ben Hogan Tour Member in 1986 and a 1989 Nike Tour Member. Lost in a playoff and earned runner-up honors at the 1993 Nike Tour Reno Open. Earned his Tour card and was a 1994 PGA Tour Member, playing in 20 events. Best finish was T-17th in the 1994 Western Open. Was the Coca-Cola Portsmouth Open Champion and then played on the 1995 PGA Asian Tour. Won five events on the Pepsi Tour in 1997. Was the 2000 Stead Open Champion and a few years ago became a full-time teaching instructor, which affords little time for competitive golf events.
