Tom Weiskopf

Spends most of his time as a Golf course architect. Played on 1973 & '75 Ryder Cup team... When the top 60 money winners were the prime basis for exempt status on the PGA Tour, he finished in that group 17 straight years, through the 1982 season. No one on Tour could match that figure... Had a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder in 1986, which required surgery.
Wasn't eligible for any Senior Tour events in 1992, but did play in 13 PGA Tour events. Survived the cut in four tournaments with his best finish being a T-25th in the Buick Invitational of California.
1993 Senior Tour Summary: tournaments entered - 12; top 10 finishes - 8; stroke average 70.26; money $296,528 (ranked 32nd); best finish 2nd U.S. Senior Open. Also won the unofficial Chrysler Cup.
1994 Senior Tour Summary: tournaments entered - 16; top 10 finishes - 6; stroke average 70.38 (ranked 12th); money $315,024 (ranked 29th); winner Franklin Quest Championship.
1995 Senior Tour Summary: tournaments entered - 19; top 10 finishes - 8; stroke average 70.58 (ranked 10th); money $580,137 (ranked 18th); winner, U.S. Senior Open.
1996 Senior Tour Summary: tournaments entered - 18; top 10 finishes - 4; stroke average 72.12 (ranked 47th); money $454,584 (ranked 28th); winner, SBC Dominion Seniors & Pittsburgh Senior Classic.
After that season went into semi-retirement from professional golf to spend more time as an architect.
1997 Senior Tour Summary: tournaments entered - 5; top 10 finishes - 1; money $36,943 (ranked 97th); best finish, T9th, MasterCard Championship.
Didn't make any starts in 1998
1999 Senior Tour Summary: tournaments entered - 7; top 10 finishes - 4; stroke average 73.24 (ranked N/A); money $70,070 (ranked 85th); best finish, T14th, LiquidGolf.Com Invitational.
Since then has only played twice, T21st in the 2000 MasterCard Championship and T44th in the 2002 CountryWide Traditon.
