Sebastian Vazquez

Attended Anahuac University in Mexico City and graduated with a business degree in 2014. Vazquez had a successful amateur career winning the Mexican Amateur in 2011 and 2012. Finished 3rd at the 2012 U.S. Amateur's stroke-play competition and then lost in the first round of match play. He also represented Mexico at the 2012 Eisenhower Trophy as part of a team with Rodolfo Cazaubon and Carlos Ortiz. Vazquez won the individual prize helping the Mexican team to a second-place finish behind the United States. Missed the cut in the Web.com Tour's Mexico Open, where he was playing as an amateur.
2012 Notes: Vazquez turned professional in 2012 and immediately joined the PGA Tour Latinoamerica Tour, making his professional debut at the Lexus Peru Open in November 2012. His first professional win came at the 2012 Puerto Rico Classic in just his second professional start on PGA Tour Latinoamerica. Finished the year with 7 starts and 12th on the money list with earnings of $25,560.
2013 Notes: Played in 13 PGA Tour Latinoamerica Tour events making 10 cuts. Had 4 top-ten finishes, best was T-4th at the Roberto De Vicenzo Invitational.
