Career Highlights
In 2000, best finish was fourth at the Firstar LPGA Classic, where she fired a career-low 64 during the final round.
In 1999, recorded her first career hole-in-one during the first round of the Australian Ladies Masters; best finish of the year came at the Longs Drugs Challenge, where she tied for third; suffered severe muscle spasms in her left shoulder and ribs causing her to withdraw from the du Maurier Classic and miss the following three events (July 30-Aug. 20).
In 1998, turned professional and finished as co-medalist at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 1999 season.
Prior to joining the LPGA, was a member of the Futures Tour, where she won two events.
Amateur
Eathorne was the Canadian Ladies Amateur champion in 1997 and the British Columbia Ladies Amateur champion from 1995-97. She was a member of the New Mexico State University golf team and was ranked fifth in the 1998 season. She was the Diet Coke Roadrunner Invitational medalist and received NGCA first team All-America honors in 1997-98.
Personal
Her full name is Anna-Jane Eathorne. Started playing golf at the age of 13...Credits her parents Bevan and Judy for their great support and love, as well as her brother Steve, who she says is â??the best that I could ask forâ?...Inducted into the New Mexico State University/Citizen's Bank Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004...Hobbies include exercise, baking, drinking wine and hanging out with friends...Qualified for the Tour on her first attempt.
