Allisen Corpuz

Allisen Corpuz developed a passion for golf at a young age. She was three years old when she first watched her older brother, George, hit balls at the practice range. Wanting to do everything her brother did, Corpuz quickly began hitting balls as well, and her love for the game began.
Corpuz became the youngest competitor in a USGA Championship when she played at the 2008 U.S. Amateur Public Links at the age of 10, three months. The 2022 U.S. Open was her ninth USGA Championships. She won the 2009 Hawaii Women's Match Play Championship when she was in sixth grade. She won the 2014 Hawaii Women's State Open. She was T-17th in the 2019 Augusta National Women's Amateur and T-13th in 2021.
She was a three-time AJGA All-American while earning nine top-10 finishes in AJGA majors and 15 top-five in AJGA events over her junior career. Corpuz captured the title at the 2014 Hawaii State Open, represented Hawaii in the 2014 Asia Pacific Junior Cup, and represented the West team at the 2012 AJGA Wyndham Cup. She was recruited and went to USC, where she had a distinguished record.
2021 Notes: She was a fifth-year senior at Southern California and won the Lamkin San Diego Invitational and the Gold Rush and helped USC reach the NCAA Women's Golf Championship. Corpuz was a member of the 2021 U.S. Arnold Palmer Cup team and played for the U.S. Curtis Cup team and had a 3-0 record in the matches won by the United States. Corpuz turned pro after she won a National Women's Golf Association event in Alabama prior to playing LPGA Q Series, finishing T-16th in the LPGA Q Series to earn her card for 2022.
2022 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA Tour events, making 17 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She was 42nd on the money list with $721,135 in earnings and was 32nd in CME Points. She was T-30th in her professional debut at the LPGA Drive on Championship Crown Colony. She was T-9th in the Bank of Hope LPGA Match Play, losing in the first round of the knockout stage to Lilia Vu for her first top-10 finish on Tour. Shot a final round 65 to finish 11th at the Meijer LPGA Classic. She was 2nd at the ISPS Handa World Invitational, finishing five shots back of the winner Maja Stark. She was the 36-hole leader at the Pelican Women?s Championship and finished 3rd, shooting 69 in the final round to finish three back of winner Nelly Korda. Finished T-17th at the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.
2023 Notes: She was T-3rd at the HSBC Women?s World Championship, three shots back of winner Jin Young Ko. Corpuz was in contention at the Chevron Championship and finished T-4th. Corpuz shared the 54-hole lead with Angel Yin and shot 74 in the final round to finish two shots back of the Lilia Vu/Angel Yin playoff. She won the U.S. Women?s Open at Pebble Beach for her first LPGA victory. Corpuz opened with a 69 and had four subpar rounds for a 3-shot win over Charley Hull and Jiyai Shin. Corpuz began the final round a shot back of Nasa Hataoka and took the lead with a birdie at 10 on Sunday. She added birdies at 14 and 15 to seal the victory. The next week, she shot a final round 65 to finish 2nd in the Dana Open, three shots back of winner Linn Grant.
