Amelia Lewis

Started to play golf at age 10.
Lewis won the 2009 North and South Women's Amateur Championship and finished runner-up at the 2009 Harder Hall Invitational. She was a three-time Florida All-First Coast Girl Player of the Year (2006, 2007, 2008) and has a total of 52 wins in Junior and Amateur competition, reaching No.3 on the Women?s World Amateur Golf Ranking.
In 2010, she turned professional in April and finished second at the 2010 Alliance Bank Golf Classic on the LPGA Futures Tour.
In 2011, her rookie season on the LPGA Tour, she played in eight tournaments and had a season-best T-29th at the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup.
In 2012, she competed nine times on the LPGA Tour and finished T-38th in the Safeway Classic. In her rookie year on the LET, she played in seven events, made six cuts and posted a career best finish of T-15th at the Ladies Irish Open. Her season?s earnings were: ?20,536.51 (92).
2013 Notes: She was runner-up at the Handa New Zealand Women's Open on the Ladies European Tour, but earned first-place prize money as the winner, Lydia Ko, was an amateur. She was 49th on the 2013 LET money list. She played in 13 events on the LPGA Tour and made four cuts. Her best finish was T-19th at the Marathon Classic, and she finished 109th on the money list with $32,644.
2014 Notes: She was 66th on the money list with $212,578 and 68th in CME points. It marked the first time she finished in the top 100 on the money list. She was T-6th at the Handa Women?s Australian Open, her first top-10 on the LPGA Tour. She was also T-6th at the Handa Ladies European Masters on the LET and finished 16th on the LET money list.
In 2015, she finished T-6th at the New Zealand Women's Open on the Ladies European Tour. On the LPGA, her best finish is T-27th at Pure Silk-Bahamas.
