Amy Boulden

Started to play golf in 1999 when she was 6 years old at Maesdu Golf Club. Influenced by her father Simon, who is a golf professional, so Boulden was given the correct fundamentals from that early age. She made her first appearance for a Great Britain and Ireland team when she played her part in winning the 2010 Astor Trophy. She then played in the Vagliano Trophy. Represented Europe in the 2010 Junior Ryder Cup and the 2011 Junior Solheim Cup. Boulden began 2012 by winning the Leveret Trophy and the Helen Holm Scottish Open Stroke Play Championship at Troon. She then starred in the Curtis Cup, helping Great Britain and Ireland win the match for the first time since 1996. Boulden won two points out of four, including a final singles match win to help lead GB&I to victory.
2014 will be Amy´s rookie season after finishing T-34th at the Lalla Aicha Tour School Final Qualifying. In 2013, Amy played in some LETAS events after turning professional and her best result was T-2nd at the WPGA International Challenge.
Boulden won a six-hole playoff against Kelly Tidy and Sally Watson in May to earn her first professional title at the Association Suisse de Golf Ladies Open on the Ladies European Tour Access Series. She has been working on her game with coach and mentor Robert Rock, who plays on the European Tour.
