Anna Davis

Her father Bill, taught Anna and her twin brother Billy how to play golf when they were just 4 years old and out of baby clothes. in 2021 she won the Girls Junior PGA Championship at age 15 at Valhalla GC. She won by seven shots over Julia Misemer. She won the AJGAâ??s Heather Farr Classic in April and was 3rd in the Rolex Tournament of Champions and 4th in the Rolex Girls Junior Championship. She was a member of the U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team, and although the junior matches were not held, she traveled to Whistling Straits and played in some early week exhibitions.
2022 Notes: She was runner-up in the Junior Orange Bowl Invitational and the Hilton Grand Vacations Annika Invitational (where she lost in a playoff to Yana Wilson) both in January. She was solo fourth in the Mariah Stackhouse Girls Invitational at Stanford GC in February and third in the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley in March (finishing one shot out of the playoff won by Amalie Leth-Nissen). In the Augusta Nationla Women's Amateur she shot 69 on the final day at Augusta National to win by a shot. Davis, a high school sophomore, is the eventâ??s youngest champion in its three-year history. Davis made her LPGA debut at the Palos Verdes Championship making the cut and finishing 70th. She played in her first U.S. Women's Open missing the cut at Pine Needles. Her Instagram account has over 5 million followers.
