Grandfather got him and current PGA TOUR member Charley Hoffman started in the game. Worked in sales for the Las Vegas Founders â?? the group that ran the PGA TOUR event there. Was a member of the UNLV golf team that won the 1998 NCAA team Championship. Played in two U.S. Amateurs, missed cut in 1997 and in 1998 was a semi-finalist getting beat by Tom McKnight 3 and 1.
Played on the NGA Hooters Tour in 2001 and 2002 and won the Milwaukee Classic on that tour in 2002. Played in 11 events on the NGA Hooters Tour in 1992, making the cut seven times. He earned $37,642.
2004 Nationwide Summary: Tournaments entered - 25; in money - 12; top-10 finishes - 3; scoring average 71.61 (ranked 89th); money $114,700 (ranked 51st); best finish, T2nd New Zealand PGA.
