- Served on the Southern Africa Tour Players Committee since 1991 and is currently the Chairman.
- Has a reputation for designing and using unusual putters. He used his love of hunting to design a putter based on the barrel of a weapon with a metal bar jutting out at 90 degrees behind the head. It was this club that earned him victory in the 1998 Platinum Classic.
- Bobby is one of the few professionals who never played golf as an amateur.
Played twice on the Champions tour in 2003, T64th State Farm Senior Classic and T24th, Turtle Bay Championship.
