Braden Thornberry

Thornberry finished his junior golf career ranked 6th in the World after becoming a three-time Rolex All-American (2013-15), four-time AJGA Champion, obtaining five-course records, and becoming a 2015 U.S. Amateur Qualifier.
Attends the University of Mississippi. As a freshman Thornberry led the Rebels with a 72.24 stroke average and six Top-20 finishes. His first career title came at the FAU Slomin Autism Invite. Finished out the season T-4 in the Seminole Intercollegiate with a score of 211. During the 2012-17 sophomore season, he won the NCAA Arnold Palmer Individual National Championship with a 72 hole- 11 under, becoming the first Rebel to win a national title. Led the national stroke average at 69.57 and earned five individual wins throughout the season. Thornberry was named to the 2017 All-Nicklaus Team, earned PING First Team All-American honors by the GCAA, First Team All-SEC and PING Southeast All-Region Team. During the 2017 season, he made his PGA Tour debut at the FedEx St. Jude Classic with a finish of 4th, the highest amateur finish since 1965 at the FedEx St. Jude Classic and the best amateur finish on Tour in 2017. Played on the victorious 2017 USA Walker Cup Team. Leading into his Junior season, Thornberry was rated the No. 1 college golfer in the country by Golfweek.com. Captured victory in the Shoal Creek Intercollegiate after posting a round of 66 score. This became his 8th individual title, marking the most victories in school history.
