Brett Quigley

Winner 1987 U.S. Junior Amateur and 1990 Rhode Island Amateur. Named Academic All-American in 1990 & '91. Caddied for his uncle, Dana Quigley, a one-time member of the PGA Tour Champions, when Dana fired a 61 at the 1981 Greater Hartford Open. His dad, Paul, was one of New England's top amateur golfers.
Quigley has spent his career bouncing between the PGA and Korn Ferry tours. His best finish on the main tour is second, but he has two wins on the lower tour, the 1996 Nike Philadelphia Classic and the 2001 Buy.com Arkansas Classic. In 75, Korn Ferry starts made 37 cuts and had 13 top-tens. His best year was in 1996 when in 28 starts, he got eight top-ten finishes and was 5th on the money list with earnings of $123,763.
Brett played on the PGA Tour between 1997 and 2011. In 408 starts, he made 240 cuts with 34 top-ten finishes. He was runner-up five times in the 2001 Greater Greensboro Chrysler and 2004 U.S. Bank in Milwaukee Open. He was runner-up three times in the 2009 Puerto Rico Open, Transitions Championship, and John Deere Classic. His most successful year was in 2006, in 33 starts, was in the top-ten 10 times, and earned $2,617,419, which was 20th on the money list. In total, Quigley won $11,058,693 on the PGA Tour.
On the PGA Tour Champions, he debuted at the 2019 Shaw Charity Classic; he finished T-64th. Later in the year tried to get his card at Q-School and finished T-52nd in the final stage.
2020 & 2021 Notes: Played in 36 PGA Tour Champions events with six top-tens and finished 26th in the Charles Schwab Cup. In just his second start on the PGA Tour Champions, he won the 2020 Morocco Champions. Shot 66 in the final round and was a shot better than Stephen Ames. Was T-9th at the Chubb Classic, at the Cologuard Classic, led in the first and second rounds but shot a final 73 to finish T-3rd, four shots back of Bernhard Langer. At the Ally Challenge held the 36-hole lead but shot a final round 71 to finish T-2nd and two shots back of winner Jim Furyk. Didn't get his next top ten until the 2021 Mitsubishi Electric Classic. He finished T-5th four shots back of winner Dicky Pride. Ended his season with a T-7th finish in the Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
2022 Notes: Played in 25 PGA Tour Champions events with six top-ten finishes. It was 23rd in the Schwab rankings and 22nd on the money list with earnings of $827,832. He opened with rounds of 67-66 at the season-opening Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai before closing with 71 to finish T-8th. He was 5th at the Principal Charity Classic, three shots back of the Jerry Kelly/Kirk Triplett playoff. T-8th at the Boeing Classic and 2nd at the Ally Challenge. He made eagle, birdie, and birdie on his final three holes and was a shot back of winner Steve Stricker. Finished T-5th at the Pure Insurance Championship, two shots back of winner Steve Flesch. T-8th at the Dominion Energy Charity and T-20th in the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
2023 Notes: T-3rd at the Trophy Hassan II, six shots back of winner Stephen Ames. He finished T-8th at the Cologuard Classic and 4th at the Mitsubishi Electric Classic.
