Brittany Lincicome

Started playing golf at age nine and credits her parents and two brothers, Hunter and Bryan Vickers, as the individuals most influencing her career.
Had a stellar amateur career that began with a tournament win at age nine. Participated in more than 100 amateur events, winning 60 percent of the time. Was a star on the American Junior Golf Association circuit, winning three events. In 2004, won the Harder Hall Invitational and advanced to the Round of 16 in the U.S. Women's Amateur. Competed in the 2004 U.S. Women's Open and led after the first round before finishing 55th. She also played in the State Farm Classic in 2004 as an amateur, finishing T-66th.
In 2004, she turned professional in December, finishing T-20th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 2005 LPGA season.
In 2005, she recorded a season-best finish at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, where she was T-18th.
In 2006, she became a Rolex First-Time Winner after winning six consecutive matches as the 39th seed at the HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship.
In 2007, she came from four strokes back to earn her second career LPGA victory at the Ginn Open. Recorded top-20 finishes in all four major championships and crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings at the Safeway International presented by Coca-Cola. Was one of four rookies on the victorious USA Solheim Cup Team.
In 2008, her best finish was T-7th at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic.
In 2009, she eagled the 72nd hole to win the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the first major championship of the LPGA Tour season, which was her third-career LPGA win and first major championship victory. Crossed the $2 million mark in career earnings and posted a 5th-place finish at the U.S. Women's Open. T-10th at the Wegmans LPGA and she qualified for her second U.S. Solheim Cup Team appearance by finishing 9th on the points list. At the Solheim Cup, she posted a 2-2-0 record for the victorious U.S. Team.
In 2010, her best finish was runner-up at the Navistar LPGA Classic and T-2nd at the Bell Micro LPGA Classic. She also T-5th at the Mizuno Classic, T-8th at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge and T-9th at the Tres Marias Championship and Ricoh Women's British Open.
2011 Notes: Had her third and fourth LPGA victories at the ShopRite LPGA Classic and CN Canadian Women's Open, where she crossed the $4 million mark in career earnings. Additional top-10 finishes included T-2nd at the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup and T-3rd at the LPGA State Farm Classic and LPGA HanaBank Championship. She competed on her third U.S. Solheim Cup Team, posting a 2-2-0 record.
2012 Notes: Played in 24 events, making 21 cuts. Had six top-10 finishes, including season-best runner-up finishes at the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open and the Safeway Classic. Earned $581,631 which ranked her 23rd on the Tour money list.
2013 Notes: Played in 23 events and made the cut 16 times, finishing 32nd on the Tour money list. Had three top-10 finishes, including a season-best T-3rd at the CN Canadian Woman's Open. Competed on her fourth U.S. Solheim Cup Team, posting a 1-1-1 record.
2014 Notes: She was 17th on the money list with $790,661 and 25th in CME points. She made 21 cuts in 26 starts with six top-10 finishes. She led the LPGA in driving distance for the second time at 271.4 yards, she was also the distance leader in 2012. She was 2nd at the LPGA Championship, losing a playoff to Inbee Park on the first extra hole after they tied at 11-under 277. Lincicome led by one with a hole to play but made bogey on the 72nd hole to force the playoff with Park. She had her second runner-up finish of the year at the KEB Hana Bank LPGA Championship in South Korea, losing a playoff to Kyu-Jung Baek after they tied at 10-under 278. Lincicome missed a four-foot birdie putt on the first extra hole, failing to extend the playoff.
2015 Notes: Played in 23 events making 23 cuts, she was 12th on the money list and 17th in CME points. Won the second major championship of her career at the ANA Inspiration, defeating Stacy Lewis on the third extra hole. Lincicome reached the playoff with an eagle on the 72nd hole, hitting a 5-iron to 10 feet. She also eagled the 72nd hole when she won the 2009 ANA Inspiration. Lincicome finished 12th on the money list, making 23 of 26 cuts, with five top-10s. She was 4th at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship after weekend rounds of 69-68 and 4th at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic, one stroke out of the playoff won by Sei Young Kim. Played in her 5th Solheim Cup and had an 0-4 record in the Matches. Got married on Dec. 12 to long drive professional Dewald Gouws.
2016 Notes: Played in 26 LPGA events making 23 cuts with 3 top-ten finishes. Best of T-8th at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic and T-8th at the Kingsmill Championship. She was T-2nd in the Hero Indian Women's Open on the Ladies European Tour, finishing one stroke back of Indian player Aditi Ashok, who won her country's national championship.
2017 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA events making 20 cuts. Started the season winning the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic in a playoff over Lexi Thompson after they had tied at 26-under 266. Was 32nd on the money list. Made it to the U.S. Solheim Cup team for the 6th time and finished 2- 1-0 in the U.S. victory.
2018 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA Toure events making 19 cuts with seven top-ten finishes. Was 22nd on the money list with $833,586 in earings, was 16th on the CME points list. Again started her year winning the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic, beating Wei Ling Hsu by a shot in the weather-shortened event. Was T-7th at the Honda LPGA Thailand, T-10th at the KIA Classic and T-10th at the LPGA Volvik Championship. Finished 2nd at the Marathon Classic when she lost a playoff to Jasmine Suwannapura when she made birdie on the first extra hole. Was T-6th at the Cambia Portland Classic and finished the season T-3rd at the CME Group Tour Championship five shots back of the winner Lexi Thompson. In the spring she suffered a miscarriage.
2019 Notes: Played in 7 LPGA Tour events making 5 Cuts. Was 131st on the money list with $59,023 in earnings, was 129th on the CME points list. Her best finish was in her first start of the year, T-22nd at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions. Her season was cut short when she gave birth on July 8th to a girl named Emory Reign Gouws. The baby was born eight weeks early.
2020 Notes: Played in 13 LPGA Tour events making 12 cuts with one top-ten finish. Was 59th on the money list with $206,124 in earnings. Finished 71st on the CME points list. In her first start back after having a baby she was T-18th at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions. Best finish, T-9th at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. She co-led after a first round 67.
2021 Notes: Was T-7th in her first event of the season at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions. She suffered a miscarriage in May. In July was T-9th at the Marathon Classic and the next week 10th at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational with partner Brittany Lang.
