Calum Hill

Hill picked up the game of golf at age 3 and cites his father, Neil, as one of his main influencers. He attended Western New Mexico University, where he graduated with a degree in accounting in 2016. He went on to earn a master's degree in business administration from Western New Mexico in May 2018.
While at Western New Mexico, he was a member of the men's golf team. In his freshman year, he played in all 12 tournaments for the Mustangs, recording three top-10 finishes. Hill set an all-time WNMU scoring record for a freshman with a 74.17 average. He was selected All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. At the NCAA Division II Championship, he finished 16th.
Hill competed in 13 tournaments in his sophomore season and recorded six top-10 finishes. He was named to the All-RMAC Second Team and the All-RMAC Academic Team.
He garnered RMAC Player of the Year honors and RMAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors after earning three top-5 and six top-10 finishes, while also posting 15 rounds of par or better. For his work in the classroom, Hill was chosen a Capital One Academic All-American and a Golf Coaches Association of America All-American Scholar.
In his senior season, Hill finished runner-up at the NCAA Division II Championship. He was named the RMAC Academic and Golfer of the Year for the second straight season, while also being named a CoSIDA Academic First Team All-American. He finished up RMAC play by winning the conference tournament by five strokes. Hill also landed a spot on the Division II PING All-America Second Team. Overall, he recorded six top-5 finishes.
After closing out his collegiate career, Hill became the assistant coach for WNMU for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, while he was working towards his master's degree. He competed on mini tours in 2017 and has won three times, including the San Juan Open and the Arizona Open.
