Carleigh Silvers

Began playing the game of golf around age 8 and credits her dad for introducing her to the sport.
Playing collegiately at Northern Colorado, Silvers was named Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week four times over her career. In 2011, she won the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic after shooting scores of 73-71-69. That victory came in a field that contained five teams ranked in the top-50 in the nation. Finished third in the Big Sky Conference Championship and earned Big Sky Conference All-Tournament Team and was named Big Sky All-Conference Second Team.
In 2012, earned six top-20 finishes in nine tournaments and won both the Individual and Team Big Sky Conference Tournament Championships. Was named to the 2012 Big Sky Conference All-Tournament Team, All-Academic Team and was a First Team All-Conference selection.
In her senior season, she earned a first place victory at the Monterey Bay Invitational and finished fifth at the Big Sky Conference Championships. For the second year in a row, named to the 2013 Big Sky Conference All-Tournament Team, All-Academic Team and was a First Team All-Conference selection. Also was named to the Dean's List for her academic achievements.
Since graduating, Carleigh actively participates in the Cactus, Symetra and Canadian Tours as she hopes to earn her LPGA Tour card one day.
When she's not playing golf, Carleigh loves being on the lake and going boating with her friends. A family friend gave her a silver dollar after they won the conference title in college and she keeps it in her bag at all times. Something unique about Silvers is her friends gave her the nickname "Puddles" because she has to wear a rain glove when golfing because she has sweaty hands. Says her two most memorable golf experiences are winning the Indiana Team State Championship in high school and the Big Sky Conference Team Championship in college.
