Achieved success in his home country in the early 1990s, winning Chinese Taipei's home Open and Republic of China PGA Championship on several occasions. Secured his first victory in Asia in 1995, winning the Formosa Open on home soil. A steady player, he has played in Japan as well before focusing on Southeast Asia, safely keeping his card from 2000 to 2002. He played in 11 events in the 2006 season, where he enjoyed a lone fifth-place finish at the inaugural Pulai Springs Malaysian Masters. In 2002, challenged for the Taiwan Open title before finishing T2 behind Malaysia's Danny Chia. In 2003, he lost his playing privileges and returned to the qualifying tournament, where he finished fourth to regain his card. Finished 70th on the order of merit in 2004, thanks to a T9th outing in the Kolon Korean Open and a fifth-place showing at the Taiwan Open. Was the joint leader after the second and third rounds. In 2005, he enjoyed four top-20s.
Shot four straight sub-par rounds at TPC Eagle Trace and finished T4 at the Champions Tour's National Qualifying Tournament. Eventually secured the sixth position, losing in a playoff with Jim Rutledge and John Riegger with a par on the third playoff hole.
