Dan Bradbury

He first picked up a club at age three, visited a driving range for the first time when he was five, and joined Wakefield Golf Club a few weeks short of his eighth birthday. He represented Yorkshire for the first time when he was 13, "my foursomes partner that very first round was actually Barclay Brown," he told the media. He captained Leeds Union and then Yorkshire Boys, and by the time he was 18 knew exactly the next step he wanted to take to further his prospects in golf.
Bradbury attended Lincoln Memorial University from 2017 to 2021, where he was the 2020 and 2021 South Atlantic Conference Men's Athlete of the Year. He played his final collegiate season at Florida State University in 2022
Bradbury turned professional in July 2022 and made his first start at the Cazoo Classic, played at Hillside Golf Club in Southport. He missed the cut. In November 2022, in his third start on the European Tour and playing on a sponsor's invite, Bradbury won the Joburg Open, an event also co-sanctioned by the Sunshine Tour. He shot a final score of 263 (21 under par) to win by three shots ahead of Sami Valimaki. What made the victory so remarkable was that Bradbury had no status on the DP World Tour and with the victory, became a member of the DP World Tour. Bradbury won in just his sixth professional start and going into the week, was 1,397 on the Official World Golf Rankings. He became the player with the lowest ranking on the OWGR. The win also gained him an exemption into the 151st Open Championship. He finished T-10th at the Soudal Open and T-8th at the Betred British Masters.
