Player Notes: Winner, 2018 Naples Beach Club Senior Open; 2017 North Florida Senior PGA Professional Championship; 2015 Gate PGA Invitational; 1986, '88, and '89 Indiana Amateur. Exempt on the PGA Tour in 2004 (best finish: T-12 at Chrysler Classic of Tucson). At the age of 25, won the 1992 Michigan Tournament of Champions by closing birdie-ace-birdie (3-1-3) to win the event by one shot.
He finished T-12 at 2003 PGA Tour Q-School and got his PGA Tour card for 2004. Played in 31 evehts making eight cuts with just one top-25 finish, T-12th at the Chrysler Classic Tucson. He won $135,731 which played him 207th on the money list. Went back to Q-school and finished T-48th.
He played on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2005 and 2006 and his best finish was T-3rd at the Knoxville Open. But both years was 62dn in 2005 and 93rd in 2006 on the money list.
He tried to make it to the PGA Tour Champions and in final stages in 2017 and '18 didn't get his Tour card. Played in a total of six events, he best finish was T-19th in the 2019 Chubb Classic. He was T-24th at the 2019 Senior Open.
Went to Europe and finished 3rd in the 2019 Legends Qualifying school. Played 16 European Tour events in 2019 with four top-ten finishes. Was 23rd on their Order of Merit with euro78,249. Best finish was T-4th at the Senior Open Hauts de France.
