Daniel (Danny) Briggs was a three-time All-American at Texas A&M University. Recently inducted into the Texas A&M Sports Hall of Fame. Won the Southwest Conference title in 1982. Played tours in Asia and Canada after turning pro; Payne Stewart talked him into going to Asia in 1985-86. Also played on the PGA Tour in 1986, '88, '99, 2000, '04 and '05.
