ELIGIBILITY CODE: 15]

Ended the 2011 season with back-to-back top-10 finishes to claim the final spot in the top 30 on the Order of Merit, continuing a resurgence in form which began spectacularly in 2010 when he finally landing his maiden Senior Tour title after nine runner-up finishes, winning the De Vere Collection PGA Seniors Championship. Victory was especially sweet as his son Chris was his caddie. Four other top ten finishes saw the man better known as ?DJ? end the year in sixth place on the Order of Merit ? his best season in seven years on the Senior Tour. His last second place came in the 2007 Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open. The previous year, he came desperately close to securing his first win at the season-opening DGM Barbados Open, only to be beaten by Spain?s José Rivero at the fourth hole of a sudden-death play-off. The eighth runner-up finish of his Senior Tour career followed at the FIRSTPLUS Wales Seniors Open, when Rivero was again the man to profit. Was part of Europe Team Captain Ian Woosnam?s backroom team at The 2006 Ryder Cup, and helped oversee a record-equalling 18½-9½ victory against the United States. Quit The European Tour in 1996 and spent six years as a club professional at Kedleston Park in Derby, while more recently he has focused on his golf course design project at Archerfield in Scotland, where he has designed two links courses. Won the first of his two European Tour titles, the Car Care Plan International, in 1985. The second came at the Open de Lyon Trophée V33 in 1992, when he romped to victory with a 21 under par effort which contained 19 birdies, an eagle and no dropped shots in the entire 72 holes. Is a close friend of Ian Woosnam and the pair have a golf design company together. Took over as Chairman of the Senior Tour Committee in 2011 and is also a European Tour Board Member.
