Qualified for the 2012 U.S. Senior Open as co-medalist (68) at Laurel Creek Country Club in Mt. Laurel, N.J. This is his first U.S. Senior Open.
This will be his 10th USGA Championship, which includes the U.S. Junior, U.S. Amateur, U.S. Mid-Amateur and two USGA Men's State Team Championships. When he played in the 2002 U.S. Mid-Amateur, he was a quarterfinalist at The Stanwich Club in Greenwich, Conn. His 2012 has started off strong, when he and his son won the Mid-Atlantic Father-Son title. Then, at the Maryland Amateur, he finished in a tie for ninth. In 2011, he tied for third at the Father-Son at Rolling Road Golf Course. In 2010 he tied for ninth at the Father-Son at Eldridge and tied for 13th at the 89th Maryland Amateur at Congressional Country Club. Tied for 15th at the 2009 Two-Man Team at Maryland Golf and Country Club. He was the 2002 Maryland State Amateur Champion. His wife is Robin, and they have a daughter, Jordan, and son, Conner. He belongs to Chartwell Golf and Country Club. In his spare time he likes to ski and spend time with his family.
