David Podas

David Podas learned to love the game of golf while caddying at Hiawatha Golf Club as a kid. He eventually made his mark as the head pro at Minneapolis Golf Club before heading west to the lush surroundings of exclusive Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles. Podas currently is the Director of Golf and PGA Head Teaching Professional at Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles, California and has been since 2003.
Played in the 2013 3M Championship on the Champions Tour. Was the low qualifier at the 2005 PGA Tour Nissan Open and the 2007 PGA Tour Buick Open. Won the 2009 Pro-Assistant Championship, along with Thomas Gardner, at Mission Hills Country Club. T-17th in the 2013 SCPGA Senior Section Championship after carding rounds of 74-71.
He is a member of the PGA of America National Rules Committee and married to his wife, Betsy Kay.
