Don Bell

Bell is a top producing real estate broker with RE/MAX signature. He and his wife, Marianne, have three sons, Don, Michael and Kevin. Bell's hobbies include skiing and traveling. Bell's swing coach is Ron Grotjan from the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, and his short game coach is James Sieckmann.
Bell started playing golf when he was a high school senior and often went to play at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx with friends. Bell went to college at Oberlin to play football, but after cracking his vertebrae during his freshman year, he transferred to Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. As a sophomore, Bell started playing a lot of golf and said this is when he fell in love with the game. As a junior, Bell tried out for the golf team and made it. He graduated from Emory in 1986 with a degree in mathematics.
From 1988 to 2003, Bell played on pro tours in Australia, South Africa, Europe and the United States. Bell qualified for four Web.com Tour events and one PGA Tour event during that time. He owns 19 mini-tour titles and led the PGA of Norway Money List for two years in the late 1990s.
In 2014, Bell played in the U.S. Amateur, U.S. Mid-Amateur (round of 16 appearance) and British Senior Open. He was also named Florida State Golf Association Player of the Year. Bell regained professional status later that year.
Bell competed in the 2015 U.S. Senior Open but failed to make the cut after shooting +6 through 36 holes. In 2016 he played in the Daytona Beach Open and Pro-Am (T-25th), the Crane Lakes Invitational and Pro-am (T-44th) and the Indian River Open (T-70th).
Bell has represented Florida in two USGA state team championships. He has won the Florida Mid-Amateur Stroke Play Championship on three occasions, and also owns victories in the Florida Amateur Match Play Championship and Florida Amateur Mid-Senior Championship.
