Eddie Hargett

Started playing at the age of 28. Finished third at the South Carolina Mid-Amateur Four-Ball Championship. Was a semifinalist at the SCGA Four-Ball Championship at The Patriot Golf Club. Played in 2010, 1999 and 1998 U.S. Mid-Amateur. Made it to the round of 32 at the South Carolina Amateur Match Play Championship. Seven-time club champion. Two-time club match play champion. 2000 CGA Carolina's four-ball match play champion. Three-time SCGA Hall of Fame Classic champion. Two-time runner-up SCGA Mid-Amateur four ball. Two-time runner-up SCGA Partners Championship champion. His favorite golf memory was playing Augusta National with Lou Holtz. He is the owner of The New York Butcher Shoppe, but never visited New York until 2010. Outside of golf, he has coached his sons' baseball, football and basketball team since he was 4-years-old, but now he has started playing golf; they enjoy playing together. He likes to deer hunt, fish and just in general be outdoors.
In 2018 he won North and South Senior Championship at Pinehurst Resort and Country Club (won by 4 strokes/211 through 54 holes) and was 8th in South Carolina Mid-Amateur Championship.
In 2019 he advanced to Round of 32 in South Carolina Amateur Match Play. He was 4th at South Carolina Senior Championship and 6th at the Chanticleer National Senior Invitational.
