Emma Henrikson

Emma Henrikson began playing golf at age 4. This is her first U.S. Women?s Open after making an eagle on the first playoff hole at sectional qualifying to earn the last spot available.
Joined the Symetra Tour in 2017. Finished T-17th at the Decatur-Forsyth Classic, T-18th at the POC Med Classic, and T-30th at the Fuccillo Kia Classic.
Senior Season (2015-2016): Named San Diego State Univeristy Athlete of the Year, Mountain West Conference Women's Golfer of the Year, First-Team All-Mountain West, MW All-Academic Team and MW Golfer of the Week twice. Chosen honorable mention All-American - the first player in program history to that distinction at any level. Finished among the Top-15 in eight out of nine tournaments. Won Golfweek Conference Challenge and T-1st at the Westbrook Spring Challenge. Additionally, had a pair of 3rd-place finishes at the Branch/McGuire Invitational and Bruin Wave Invitational (T-3rd).
Junior Season (2014-2015): Garnered First-Team All-Mountain West accolades and MW All-Academic Team. Tallied three top-five finishes and two top-15s. Ended the year with a No. 81 ranking in the final Golfstat Cup standings. Won her first tournament at the season-opening Ptarmigan Ram Classic, T-3rd at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational and helped SDSU earn their first-ever Mountain West Conference Championship title.
Sophomore Season (2013-2014): Named First-Team All-Mountain West and MW All-Academic Team. Finished 81st nationally in the final Golfstat Cup standings. Posted three top-10 performances and seven top-20 performances, including a runner-up at the Mountain West Championship and T-5th at the SDSU Farms Invitational.
Freshman Season (2012-2013): In her debut season as an Aztec she tallied two top-10 finishes and a four top-15 finishes. She finished 3rd at The Gold Rush, 9th at the LV Collegiate Showdown and T-15th at the Mountain West Championships
Prior to College
Finished 2nd at the 2011 Finnish Amateur Championship, 4th at the 72-hole Swedish junior national championships. Won the 2011 Skandia Tour Elit No. 6 and was the medalist at the Scottish Order of Merit stroke-play competition. Runner-up at both the Norberg Open and the Götenehus Short Game Masters.
