Eric Dietrich

As a junior, he enjoyed playing baseball which he played since the age of 5. He started playing golf right before high school and switched to golf in his freshman year in high school. Felt he would rather be on the golf course every day instead of on the diamond. Had a successful junior career, winning the 2012 U.S. Challenge Cup Junior and 2012 U .S. Challenge Cup Francis Ouimet Junior Stroke-Play Championship. Was the team captain for two years at Cheshire High School before going to University of Connecticut. Was co-captain at UConn during the 2016-17 season, the year he picked up his first collegiate victory in the Till Duty is Done Collegiate Invitational. After graduating with an economics degree in 2017, he turned professional. Played in four Mackenzie Tour Canada events missing the cut in all 4.
2018 Notes: Played in 10 Mackenzie Tour-PGA Tour Canada events making, two cuts T-47th at the Windsor Championship and T-55th at the Lethbridge Open.
2019 Notes: After finishing 13th at the PGATC Q-School Canada, played in two events in Canada, T-34th at the Canada Life Open and missing the cut at the Bayview Place Open.
