Erika Hara

Works with Jumbo Ozaki. Hara admits to being star-struck when she started training under Ozaki, but insists she remained focused on realizing her dream of being the best player on the pro tour. She turned pro in 2018 and won three times on the Japan Step-Up Tour (the developmental tour for the Japan LPGA).
She started playing on the Japan LPGA in 2018 and in 25 starts made 19 cuts with five top-ten finishes. Her best finish was T-4th in the Nobuta Group Masters. She finished 38th on the Japan LPGA with earnings of yen29,379,165 ($267,013).
In 2019 she played in 36 Japan LPGA events making 27 cuts. She had seven top-ten finishes and won for the first time at the ResortTrust Ladies. She finished 14th on the Japan LPGA money list with yen70,769,927 ($643,193).
2020 Notes: Hara won twice on the Japan LPGA, first at the Japan Women's Open as she was 16 under par and best Sakura Koiwai by four shots. Two months later she won the Japan LPGA Tour Championship Ricoh Cup, finishing at 10 under par and beating Ayaka Furue by two shots.
She is presently 8th on the JLPGA money list for 2020/21 with yen92,704,011 ($842,542)
