An Edinburgh man with 2 golfing careers. In his first career, he played international golf for Scotland before turning pro, where he played on the European Challenge Tour as well as the Tartan Tour in Scotland. Never quite making the breakthrough to the big time, Euan gave the game up completely for around 12 years to focus on a business career. At the age of 47, Euan became a reinstated amateur and rededicated himself to the game. Over the next couple of years, he was recapped for Scotland and won The Scottish Amateur Championship at Blairgowrie at the fair old age of 49. After failing in a valiant attempt to qualify for the PGA Tour Champions Tour in the US, McIntosh secured a full card for the European circuit just before Covid struck.

McIntosh also finished 2nd at the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship, three shots back of the winner Paul Lawrie. He also finished T-3rd at the Jersey Legends, one shot back of the playoff between Richard Green and Paul Lawrie.
