Gregor Main

Main attended UCLA, but only stayed for three years before turning pro in 2011. While a Bruin, Main made 36 starts, finishing in the top 10 on 10 occasions. His lone victory came at the Del Walker Invitational in his junior season. He was named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, and was All-Pac-10 all three seasons, earning first-team distinction in his junior season. Main also was a three-time GCAA All-American.
Main qualified but did not reach match play in the 2005 U.S. Junior Amateur. He qualified for the 2009 British Amateur as well but failed to make the cut. His lone cut made on the PGA Tour came at the 2009 Buick Invitational, as an amateur. He finished 70th. Main qualified for the U.S. Amateur in 2009 and 2011, and advanced to the round of 64 in the latter.
As a pro, Main enjoyed stints on the Web.com Tour, European Challenge Tour, and qualified for four events on the PGA Tour. Main played in six events on the Web.com Tour and made three cuts, all in 2014. His top performance came at the WinCo Foods Portland Open presented by Kraft when he notched a top-10 after shooting a 9-under-par 275 to finish T-9th, earning him $20,000. He did not make a cut on the PGA Tour as a pro.
In 2014, Main joined the European Tour and played in eight events, making the cut in four of them. He had two top-20 finishes including a T-12th at the D+D Real Czech Challenge in January.
This year, he earned conditional status on the PGA Tour Canada?s Mackenzie Tour.
