Haeji Kang

Born in South Korea, she moved to New Zealand, then Australia to help her golf career. Started playing golf at the age of 10. Credits her dad as the individual most influencing her career.
Two-time winner of the Queensland Junior Championship (2006, 2007). Won the 2006 Greg Norman Junior Masters Championship and 2007 Australian Junior Championship. Was the 2006 Queensland 72 Hole Stroke Play Champion and runner-up at the 2006 Australian Amateur Championship. Finished fifth as low amateur at the 2006 LG BING LEE Championship on the Ladies European Tour. Also low amateur at the 2007 ANZ Ladies Masters.
In 2008, turned professional in January. Recorded six top-10 finishes in 17 events on the Duramed Futures Tour, including a victory at the Greater Richmond Duramed Futures Tour Classic. T-29th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn Priority List Category 16 for the 2009 LPGA season.
In 2009, recorded a career-best T-4th at the Wegmans LPGA, where she carded a career-low 65 in the third round.
In 2010, recorded a season-best T-5th at the Sybase Match-Play Championship.
In 2011, finished T-23rd at the Avnet LPGA Classic and T-30th at the RICOH Women's British Open. Also, T-48th at the HSBC Women's Champions.
2012 Notes: Played in 24 events and made 21 cuts. She had 4 top-10 finishes, including season-best T3 at Navistar LPGA Classic. Earned $456,425, which ranked her 29th.
2013 Notes: Played in 25 events, making 20 cuts. Her three top-10 finishes including a T5 at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, her career-best finish in a major. She earned $408,641, ranking 37th on the money list. Crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings in April at the North Texas LPGA Shootout.
2014 Notes: She was 49th in earnings with $333,072 and 62nd in CME points with 19 cuts made in 26 starts. She tied her career-best finish with a T-3rd at the ShopRite Classic, seven shots back of winner Stacy Lewis. She had her second T-3rd of the season at the Reignwood LPGA Classic in China.
2015 Notes: Played in 19 LPGA events making 10 cuts. Her best finish was T-29th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Season earnings $44,869 ranking 115th.
2016 Notes: Played in 14 LPGA events making 4 cuts. Best finish was T-20th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Season earnings $38,539 ranking 126th.
2017 Notes: Played in 9 LPGA events making 4 cuts. Best finish was T-5th at the Indy Women In Tech Championship. Season earnings $87,160 ranking 108th. Also played in 9 Symetra Tour events making 8 cuts, Had two-top 10 finishes including a season-best T-6th at the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation Women's Health Classic had earnings of $14,173 finishing 61st on the money list.
2018 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA events making 14 cuts with two top-ten finishes. Best was T-3rd at the ASI Ladies Scottish Open, 5 shots back of winner Ariya Jutanugarn. Shot a final-round 63 to finish T-9th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Had season earnings of $258,711 which ranked 70th and was 73rd in the Race to CME.
2019 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA Tour events making 13 cuts. Was 104th on the money list with $116,843 in earning, was 95th on the CME points list. Best finish T-27th at the PGA Mediheal Championship. Finished 4th at the 2019 LPGA Q-Series getting her back on the LPGA in 2020.
2020 Notes: Played in 11 LPGA Tour events making 9 cuts. Was 101st on the money list with $59,129 in earnings finishing 97th on the money list. Best finish T-28th at Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
2021 Notes: Best finish T-6th at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational with partner Amy Yang. Was T-37th at the Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open to get her into the AIG Women's Open.
