Holly Clyburn

Her dad got her started playing golf at age 5. When Clyburn was 9, she was selected to be part of a regional English Women?s Golf Association, Birdie Training squad. From there, rose through the ranks representing England and made it onto the GB&I Curtis Cup Team in 2010. Made further GB & I teams playing in the 2011 Vagliano trophy at Royal PorthCawl where she won th 2011 Astor Trophy. For the final time, played on the 2012 Curtis Cup Team at Nairn Gold Club where they won the cup for the first time in 16 years. Played in all matches, winning three points for her team.
Won the 2009 English Girls and 2009 French championship. Captured th silver medal at the 2009 European championships and was the 2009 British College Open Champion as well as the 2009 Faldo Series Champion in Brazil. 2010 England World Cup player in Argentina, Home international winner with England and was the top English player at the Ladies British Open in Hoylake, finishing 25th.
Turned professional in October 2012 and in her second event, won the Banesto Tour Valencia in a two hole playoff. Earned her Ladies European Tour (LET) card later in the year.
2013 Notes: Played in 17 tournaments and earned her first LET title at the Deloitte Ladies Open. She had two other top-10 finishes at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open and the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open. Ended the season ranked seventh on Order of Merit and second on the Rolex Rookie of the Year rankings.
