James Driscoll

Fully exempt into the 2012 Open Championship by shooting 66-65 and won a playoff in International final qualifying at Gleneagles G&C.C. in Dallas.
Is the youngest of seven children. In his fifth U.S. Amateur championship in 2000, he was runner-up losing in 39 holes to Jeff Quinney. Before that his previous best finish was a quarterfinalist in the 1999 U.S. Amateur.
He played in 2 U.S. Junior Amateur's, was runner-up in 1995, losing 1 down to Scott Hailes. Member of the United States Walker Cup Team in 2001...Won a number of men's amateur events throughout the country, including the New England Amateur and the North and South Championship, before turning pro in 2001.
In 2002 played in 6 PGA Tour events, best finish T40th, B.C. Open. Also played in 3 Nationawide Tour events, T6th Greater Richmond Open.
2003 Nationwide Tour Summary: Tournaments entered - 9; in money - 6; top ten finishes - 0; stroke average 70.20 (ranked N/A); money $27,466 (ranked 121st); best finish, T14th, Chitimacha Louisiana Open.

Played the PGA Tour in 2005 and maintained his top-125 exemption finishing 100th on the money list. Slipped up in 2006 and only won $219,904. Didn't fare much better at Q-School finishing T87th which associated with returning to the Web.Com tour.

Return to PGA Tour in 2008, he finishing 141st on the money list.
With limited access was able to in 2009 finish 104th on the money list, mostly due to a runner-up finish at the Valero Texas Open were he lost in a playoff.
In 2010 finished 157th on the money list was able to regain playing privileges for 2011 when he finishing T16th at PGA Tour Q-School.
In 2011 went into the season ending Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic ranked 125th on the money list. His eagle-birdie-birdie start in round one helped push him to an eventual T12th place finish, moving him to No. 114 on the final money list, safely inside the top 125. Became ill Saturday night before the final round, but managed six birdies Sunday en route to a 4-under 68.
