Jeff Freeman

Father got him started in the game. His brother, Robin, competed on the PGA Tour and is currently a member of the Champions Tour. Made two starts during 2011, missing the cut at the PGA Tour's Transitions Championship and the Nationwide Tour's Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open. Earned medalist honors at the 2011 Champions Tour National Qualifying Tournament in Scottsdale, Ariz., after firing four consecutive rounds of 66 which led to a four-stroke victory. Tied for 31st in 2012 Champions Tour debut at the Insperity Championship.
Freeman served from 2009 to May 3, 2012, as a PGA assistant professional at the Country Club of Orlando, in Florida. Won the 1999 PGA Professional National Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wis., and finished fourth in the 2000 championship. Earned 1999 PGA Professional Player of the Year honors. Captured the 1999 Western PGA Professional Championship at Santa Ana Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M., and won the 2000 Western PGA Professional Championship at Makena Resort in Maui, Hawaii. Best finish in the Callaway Golf PGA Assistant Championship was a tie for 7th in 1998.
Competed on the PGA and Web.com Tours between 1991 and 2006, including 18 events (44 rounds) on the PGA Tour between 1991 and 2004, earning $26,360. Best PGA Tour finish was a T-37 in the 2000 Nissan Open.
Competed in 176 events (544 rounds) on the Web.com Tour between 1991 and 2006, earning $560,259. His best Web.com Tour finishes were a runner-up in the 2001 Fort Smith Classic and the 2002 Oregon Classic.
Was a key member of the 2000 USA PGA Cup team, finishing 4-1-0, and clinched a victory for the United States over Great Britain & Ireland by making a two-foot par putt on the 17th hole at the Celtic Manor in Newport, Wales.
In 2012, played in 14 Champions Tour events, had one top-ten, T7th at Principal Charity Classic. Earned $197,387, which was 61st on money list. Finished the year with a T8th showing at Champions Tour Q-School.
