Jeff New

Played collegiate golf at Rice University, and was named team MVP in 1979.
In 2006, competed in the U.S. Mid-Amateur, but failed to make the cut. Also competed in the Trans-Mississippi Amateur, placing 26th through stroke play and advancing to the round of 32.
In 2007, he returned to the U.S. Mid-Amateur, as well as the U.S. Amateur, through he failed to make the cut in either event. He also competed in the Cotton States Invitational but failed to make the cut.
In 2008, he placed 19th in the Cotton Woods Invitational and 22nd in the Birmingham National Invitational. He returned to the Cotton State Invitational and advanced to the round of 64.
In 2009, he competed in the Cotton Woods Invitational and finished 11th.
In 2012, he won the Harvey Penick Senior Invitational. He also finished 3rd at the Tower Senior Invitational and 4th at the Medalist Houston Series.
In 2013, he has competed in the Arizona Senior Stroke and finished 5th. Also competed in the Arizona Mid-Amateur and finished 10th.
In 2015 was 4th at the Society of Seniors Championships, won the Trans-Miss Senior Championship.
In 2016 was 6th at the Carlton Woods Invitational Senior.
In 2017 won the Carlton Woods Invitational Senior and was 2nd at the Society of Seniors-Senior Masters.
In 2018 was runner-up at the Trans-Mississippi Senior Championship. Lost in the round of 32 to Scott Sullivan 3 & 2 at the 2018 U.S. Senior Amateur Championship.
In 2019 was runner-up at the Golfweek Senior Amateur Championship and was 4th at the Trans-Mississippi Senior Championship.
