Josh Anderson

Was a teammate of Rickie Fowler at Murrieta Valley High School. Earned honorable-mention All-America honors at Pepperdine University. Was a semifinalist at the 2010 U.S. Amateur Public Links. He advanced to match play at the 2007 and 2008 U.S. Amateurs and competed in two U.S. Junior Amateurs. Earliest golf memory is attending the Shark Shootout with his father. Fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, as well as Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady. Dream foursome would include Bob Jones, Ben Hogan and Seve Ballesteros. Never travels without his computer. Enjoys Japanese food and sushi, traveling to Hawaii, listening to Jay-Z and driving fast cars. Bucket list includes traveling to all of the continents. Is left-handed but plays golf right-handed. Would like to trade places with DJ Hardwell for a day and play a big music festival. Won the 2007 California Amateur Championships, placed second at the 2009 Pacific Northwest Amateur, named the 2006 Southern California Junior of the Year.
Played in the 2009 Buick Invitational, but missed the cut by one stroke after 73-74. Played in 2011 Farmers Insurance Open, also at Torrey Pines, but missed the cut.
Played in one PGA Tour event in both 2009 and 2011. Missed the cut in both.
2013 Notes: On the PGA Tour Canada, made 5 of 8 cuts to finish with $9,596 (44th on money list).
2014 Notes: On the Web.com Tour, made 2 of 7 cuts. Finished with $6,733 for the season (182nd). Best finish was 23rd at the 2014 Nova Scotia Open. On the PGA Tour Canada, missed the cut in all three events.
